Science

ScienceAny of the departmental offerings may be used to meet this requirement in the High School Diploma program. Students in the College Preparatory Diploma program are required to earn one credit each in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Earth Science may not be used to fulfill the laboratory science requirement in the College Preparatory Diploma program but may be taken as an elective in that program.

Courses are designed to allow students to “learn by doing.” Courses are very dependent on laboratory work as a source of learning. 7 courses are offered, including advanced sections in Biology and Chemistry.
